James Dalton...blues and folk from New Jersey...raw and energetic roots music

James Dalton, based out of New Jersey, is a performer and a storyteller, a musician and a giver. He's huffed it around, reaching audiences the hard way:one person at a time, on stages and subway platforms, in living rooms and radio studios. Stomping his feet, hootin' and hollerin', banging on guitars, and making mandolins weep. Sharing secrets and laughs, mixing breathtaking vocals with exciting harmonica playing .

James' most recent releases are "Troubadours", a studio recorded album, and "Tartu Jamm", a live recording.

Troubadours is a collection of acoustic roots blues and folk that are older songs mixed with newer ones, all recorded in Asbury Park. James' delivery is raw and energetic, showing his passion for the blues and keeping it down to earth.

Tartu Jamm is a live recording where James teams up with Estonian blues guitarist Andres Roots and Les Wilson on percussion for a set that is impressive and appreciated by the live audience.
