Finnish Iron Country Sisters release new single "Go Slow"..pop-roots and three-piece vocal harmonies

Finnish sister trio Iron Country Sisters recently released their second single, Go Slow, from their upcoming debut album. Go Slow is a blend of catchy pop, roots sound, and three-piece vocal harmonies topped with lyrics that crave for a new start.

Musically the new single is a step towards a more rhythmic sound. Known already for their skill in crafting melancholic beautiful melodies and their delicate acoustic approach, in Go Slow the band has given its rhythm section, Otto Alahuhtala and Simo Kärki, more space to support Silja Rautamaa’s lead vocals.

The story of Go Slow has its roots in an emotional transition period where a person who previously seemed fascinating, but exploited that fascination, is no longer seen through the lens of passion and nostalgia, but only through their actions. Letting go, which earlier felt impossible, is now a relief. It is time to move on.

Iron Country Sisters is currently in the process of recording their debut album, which is due for release in the fall.
